Overview
Automobili Pininfarina is a separate company from the design house — a Mahindra-backed electric car brand established to put the Pininfarina name on complete vehicles for the first time, rather than on bodies designed for other manufacturers.
History
Founded in 2018 following Mahindra’s acquisition of Pininfarina SpA. Its first car is the Battista, an electric hypercar named after Battista "Pinin" Farina and built around a powertrain and battery system supplied by Rimac. Production is limited to 150 cars.
