Avera Motors is not a marque you will find on a car — it is the name Rivian used between 2011 and its rebranding, and it survives only in vehicle registries.
History
RJ Scaringe founded the company in 2009 in Rockledge, Florida as Mainstream Motors, renaming it Avera Automotive and then Rivian Automotive in 2011. An early sports car prototype was shelved in late 2011 in favour of electric and autonomous vehicles, a pivot that eventually produced the R1T and R1S. See the Rivian entry for what happened next.
