Falcon cars for sale

About these listings

Every Falcon listed on MotorLoop.

Overview

Falcon Motorsports built the Falcon F7, a mid-engined American supercar hand-made in Holly, Michigan. Just seven cars were produced between 2012 and 2017, which makes it one of the rarest cars of its generation.

The standard car used the 7.0-litre LS7 V8 from the Corvette tuned to around 620 horsepower and over 500 lb-ft, with an upgraded twin-turbo version quoted at 1,100 horsepower. The body is all carbon fibre over an aluminium and carbon chassis, with racing-style pushrod suspension and Penske dampers.

History

The company was founded in 2009 by the American designer and engineer Jeff Lemke, who had been building and modifying Vipers and Corvettes before deciding — in the depths of that year’s downturn — to build a car of his own. He has said the exterior came out of seeing a poster of the Ford GT.

A prototype was shown at the 2010 North American International Auto Show and customer cars were hand-built from 2012.

A note on the badge

Falcon is a heavily reused name in the vehicle catalogue, covering trailer and equipment manufacturers as well as this car, and it is entirely separate from the Ford Falcon familiar to Australian buyers. Check what a listing actually describes before assuming either.
