Australia's biggest automotive festival opens the new year when Street Machine Summernats 39 takes over Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) from Thursday 7 – Sunday 10 January 2027.

Summernats is aimed squarely at Australia's modified-car and street-machine community:
- Burnout competitions, including the Pro Burnout Series Grand Final bringing together qualifiers from across the 2026 season
- Elite show cars
- Drifting
- Automotive trade displays and entertainment
Some vehicles displayed at Summernats represent years of engineering, fabrication and customisation — seeing that many unusual builds in one place is the core of the appeal.
