- Does this calculator measure my battery health?
- No. It uses a health percentage you supply or a clearly labelled assumption. It does not diagnose, test or certify the vehicle’s battery.
- What if I do not know the battery health?
- Choose Unknown and explore an assumed percentage. The result is a scenario, not a measured result for the car. Replace the assumption when you have a suitable battery health result.
- Which battery capacity should I enter?
- Use the original usable capacity in kWh for the specific vehicle variant, not gross capacity or its current charge percentage. The calculator applies your health percentage to estimate remaining usable energy.
- Are charging losses and public charging included?
- Simple assumes all charging at home and excludes charging losses. Advanced lets you enter charging efficiency, home and public prices, and the share charged at home. Session, parking and idle fees are excluded.
- Is the estimated range guaranteed?
- No. The estimate uses your selected charge window and consumption. Weather, speed, terrain and battery temperature can change actual range. Follow the vehicle’s charging guidance.
